Catholic Masculinity and Fraternity in the UK & Ireland

“Teach what is appropriate to sound doctrine. Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, and sound in faith, in love and in endurance. Similarly, encourage the young men to be self-controlled. In everything set them an example by doing what is good.”

Being a Catholic Man Today

Sam Baker explores the need for men in our culture to embrace authentic masculinity.

He begins by pointing out how manhood is currently under threat and briefly discusses his own troubled journey to maturity.

In his search for a more genuine masculinity, he found the answer in the Catholic faith.

As a result of this journey, he went on to form Catholic Man UK to promote fraternity and a restoration of male identity through faith and social events.

In the rest of the talk, Sam sets out an approach for restoring masculinity in the world, by imitating Our Lord as the perfect example of manhood, and actively demonstrating the fatherhood of God in the way we lead our lives.
